1. Information We Collect
When you create a ClearMath AI account we collect your name, email address, and the password you choose. As you use the platform we also store your learning activity: lessons attempted, answers, mastery, XP, and streaks, so we can personalize your experience.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to (a) provide and personalize the tutoring experience, (b) process payments through Stripe, (c) send essential account emails (confirmation, password reset, receipts), and (d) improve our product.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe handles them under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make ClearMath AI work (hosting, database, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, AI model providers for generating questions and explanations).
5. Analytics and Third-Party Services
On our public marketing pages (home, pricing, schools, demo) we use the TikTok pixel to measure advertising. It loads only after you choose "Allow analytics" in the consent notice, and it never runs inside the student app.
If you join the waitlist or buy a plan, we send your email address to Klaviyo so we can send the emails you asked for. Problem text and photos you submit to the tutor or scanner are sent to Anthropic to generate the explanation; Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Our site runs on Cloudflare, our database on Supabase, and payments are handled by Stripe.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
7. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Children's Privacy
ClearMath AI is built for students in grades 6 to 10. We do not run advertising or marketing analytics on any page a signed-in student uses, and we never sell or share student data with advertisers. Students under 13 need a parent or guardian to create the account and agree to these terms. Parents can review or delete their child's data at any time by emailing support@clearmathai.com.
